Job Description:
We are currently recruiting ambitious and professional Sales Consultants to help us with new account acquisition. Upon successful completion of our in house training program, incumbents will embark upon a rewarding career as "hunters"; bringing their prospecting skills to a new level. They will walk prospective clients through the entire sales cycle beginning with prospecting and concluding with a customized business solution for a new customer. The ultimate goal of this position is to broaden the SkillSoft customer base and develop long term business relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities with potential customer accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships with new buying accounts
- Utilize professional selling expertise and business acumen to meet and exceed sales targets within a broad book of business
Job Requirements:
- Post secondary education is preferred
- A tested and proven track record in sales, with 2-5 years experience, B2B preferred
- Experience selling in a consultative sales approach environment
- Experience with cold calling, business development and account development
Skills Required:
- Competitive, goal orientated, self motivated individuals who thrive in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with excellent interpersonal skills
- A resourceful and creative individual with excellent time management skills
- Advanced negotiation and objection handling skills are essential in this role
Total Compensation:
- $37,000 base salary with commissions from dollar one and on target earnings of $65,000
- Unlimited commission structure (uncapped)
