This is a full-time permanent position in the Fredericton area.

Advantage Personnel is currently looking for a System Administrator, technically experienced with LINUX/Unix servers.  As CSD System Administrator, you will manage critical customer solutions business systems and will provide front line Customer Services to customers across the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer solutions delivery business system including implementation, upgrades and administrations for:
    • Customer Web and Partner Web site
    • Software key generation tool
    • Crystal reports and others
  • Automate activities to reduce manual intervention such as account synchronization using LDAP, account provisioning via website, maintenance of accounts on ticket management system and others.
  • Manage content publishing to customer portal
  • Customer account provisioning for all customer solutions systems
  • Manage monthly customer reports
  • Training equipment coordination and registration
  • Build Technical News letters and other customer support related activities
  • Develop and document processes
  • Maintain basic technical knowledge and the technology used by the company
  • Develop basic security knowledge

Skills and Experience:

  • Passion for customer care and customer satisfaction
  • Previous experience in customer facing support role is an asset
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week
  • Must have, proven experience with one or more of the following:
  • System administration experience in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Web development a strong asset
  • Basic networking concepts
  • Integration/Troubleshooting of Linux/Unix based applications
  • Linux/Unix scripting knowledge
  • Customer support experience a strong asset

Salary Range:  $45,000 to $65,000 per annum (based on experience and qualifications)
