Position: Analyst / Programmer

Term: Contract – 1 year +

During the next year, our client needs to map out data from the current system (HP-3000 platform) to the new platform (Client-Server .NET with a MS-SQL Server database).

They require someone to assist in the data mapping that has a background in the current platform (PowerHouse and Interbase) and that is also familiar with .NET programming language and MS SQL Server database (the new platform).  Although the client has knowledgeable resources in Powerhouse and Interbase, they will rely heavily on the expertise of the individual to provide the information required for this data preparation.  The current system although stable may require some minor modifications during this implementation period and the consultant would have to perform some of these changes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in documenting existing business processes to support the implementation of new technical solutions.
• Experience in developing procedures for testing application security environments and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience in developing Powerhouse applications using such tools as Quick, QTP, Quiz and Qdesign.
• Knowledgeable in developing Client Server applications using .NET
