International Senior Sales Executive – Advanced Analytics Software

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive with a fast growing provider of Advanced Analytics software.

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for generating revenue through direct selling of enterprise software systems to new clients, along with driving new revenue through current client engagements. The role requires a confident "hunter-type" sales attitude, matched with solid all-around technical knowledge and strong customer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive new revenue by aggressively securing clients
  • Follow through on qualified leads from internal lead generation programs
  • Qualify, sell and close new business opportunities
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective opportunities
  • Consistently meet quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Coordinate all leads, prospects and opportunities, including regular updates and reports
  • Manage client communication and account strategy

Required Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IS, Technology, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years proven success in sales, preferably in Business Intelligence software or IT solution sales
  • Proven understanding of software solutions, as well as the sales cycles surrounding them
  • Demonstrates good decision-making and analytical skills
  • Industry experience in the natural resources/environment sector is an asset
  • Has the ability to assess a customer's business problem and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Highly motivated, engaging, and able to work effectively within a team environment

  • Excellent customer skills and presence as demonstrated by a customer-focused attitude

  • International travel is an important component of this position
