Full-Time Permanent Position
CMA New Brunswick is seeking an energetic and visionary individual to fill the role of Director of Member Development. Based in Fredericton and reporting to the CEO, you will have a mandate to lead all CMA (Certified Management Accountant) accreditation and member professional development programs and to raise the profile of the CMA designation in New Brunswick.
Specific responsibilities will include the development and oversight of program policies, innovation and quality assurance processes, development of promotional campaigns, building a network of contacts at universities, high schools and workplaces, and recruiting potential CMA program candidates. You will deliver compelling presentations at various venues across the province to promote the CMA designation and collect the information necessary to refine your message.
You will provide direction to a Programs Manager as well as a number of contracted moderators and instructors. You will also represent CMA New Brunswick on national committees tasked with developing national programs and sharing best practices. You will keep abreast of the latest developments in professional competency and adult learning processes in order to ensure CMA programs meet the standard of excellence and responsiveness the marketplace demands.

As the ideal candidate, you possess the CMA designation or a graduate level degree in business or education with five to ten years of managerial experience. Some national and provincial travel is a requirement. Bilingualism is also a requirement. This position affords a salary in the range of $70,000 - $85,000 based on qualifications, with an extensive benefits package and a flexible work schedule.
