Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for:

• Recruiting and hiring.
• Orientation of new employees.
• Assisting supervisors with performance management, including employee evaluations, performance improvement, policies and procedures, corrective discipline and conflict resolution.
• Coordinating all safety-related meetings, programs and initiatives.
• Maintaining all personnel and HR files.
• Administering the payroll system and the Group Benefits program.
• Providing support to the HR Manager as may be required.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Human Resource Management.
• At least five (5) years relevant experience in a similar position with comparable responsibilities.
• Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Well organized, with a strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility, patience, and the ability to multi-task.
• Integrity and adherence to the strictest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
