FCC Construction is a member of the OSCO Construction Group which is based in Saint John NB. We are committed to maintaining a high quality standard for a competitive price. We are currently seeking an Junior Estimator for our Electrical Division based in Saint John, NB.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate estimates for various commercial and industrial construction projects in a timely manner;
• Performing material take-offs and pricing to provide accurate quotes to customers;
• Review bid documents (specifications, drawings, addendums, bid alternates, delivery dates and bid closing date) and efficiently coordinate sending/receiving of estimating documents to contractors;
• Utilize software to manage data and facilitate effective retrieval of information when required.

Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:

• Electrical Engineering or Technology background ideally with previous experience in Commercial/Industrial Projects.
• Previous estimating experience in the Electrical field would be considered an asset.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills are required as well as the ability to work well in  fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the Organization.
• Must possess an exceptional level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.
