Irving Tissue, located in Saint John, New Brunswick, is a successful manufacturer of premium quality tissue products for the global marketplace. We are currently seeking applicants for the following position:
Operations Relief Supervisor
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and active supervision in the areas of safety, housekeeping, production and quality on two tissue machines. Facilitating problem solving and trouble shooting activities with the Operating Crew(s) will also be required. Payroll data validation and crew scheduling, as well as identifying and implementing department needs in terms of standards, training and improvement opportunities will be required.
The successful candidates will possess a minimum two years post secondary education in technical or engineering disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As well as, computer skills in all Microsoft Office Products. The ability to excel in team environment and participate in cross functional teams will be critical to this role. This position will require a willingness to work rotating, 12-hour shifts.
