Looking to develop your strong sales and communication skills with a well-built, growing company who believes in their employees?

Our client is currently looking for an Account Manager to join their expanding business in the Saint John and surrounding area.

Qualified candidates must have a history of success selling a proven product and be experienced in both building relationships and prospecting. In addition, you should be effective at time management, strategic thinking and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to reach decision makers in a broad and competitive market is a must for success.

Candidates should be high energy, ambitious, enthusiastic professionals who are great listeners with strong questioning and qualifying skills. You should be creative, persuasive, have the ability to work independently as well as being a team player, with a history of personal sales accomplishments.

This position requires extensive face-to-face and phone contact with local businesses and organizations. A customer-focused sales orientation, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic are all necessary for success in this position.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Selling office furniture and equipment (through prospecting, cold calling and existing clients).
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Building and maintaining revenue through creative and strategic selling.
  • Create sales presentations and present to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Stay up to date on upcoming products and initiatives within client base.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong sales skills with track record of success.
  • Efficient organization skills to manage multiple daily sales activities.
  • Ability to develop key client, agency and industry relationships at all levels.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the product, the market, the competition, the clients & the industry.
  • Pro-active approach to business with ability to generate ideas and provide solutions with assistance from management.
  • Creative, “out-of-the-box” thinking to generate new revenue streams.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years sales experience.
  • Computer skills, internet research ability.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

The compensation will consist of salary, commission, car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental, and more.
