Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Account Manager to grow its business in the Saint John region. The daily responsibilities of this exciting position include client development to attract and open new accounts and client management to service existing accounts
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of direct outside sales experience (exposure to selling to the oil and gas industry would be a definite asset)
- Knowledge of the Saint John region, including geographic area, companies and decision makers
- A track record of sales success
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Experience in the transportation industry would be an asset
Required Business Skills:
- The ability to create enduring customer relationships, to develop new accounts, and manage existing accounts
- Ability to evaluate market trends to identify business opportunities
- A proven track record of presenting to Senior Executives
- Ability to create compelling proposals, deliver effective presentations, and handle objections professionally
Required Soft Skills:
- Self Starter with proven ability to work independently to meet sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Strong work ethic
