Business Analyst - Manufacturing
Roles and Responsibilities:
The business analyst is responsible to support implementations of various IT solutions. Working with management, technical staff, and the business units to develop and implement business solutions for our affiliate companies, this work will have a strong emphasis on process improvement and will include some or all of: Requirements analysis, Detailed project design, Test plans (functional and user), Individual and group training, Implementation plans, Meetings and Documentation, Project Management of small to medium size projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- University Degree (Business, Engineering or Computer Science preferred)
- Experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Proven track record leading small to medium size IT projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in developing technical documentation would be beneficial.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple objectives or tasks at the same time.
- Technical Experience or knowledge in the following areas would be an asset:
- Experience with JD Edwards software or a similar ERP package
- Knowledge of business processes that support process manufacturing
- Industry certifications such as APICS
- Supply chain management
- Process improvement, in LEAN or Six Sigma
