Human Resources Coordinator

To be based at the 100 Midland Drive, Dieppe NB, Head Office.

Irving Consumer Products is the customer interface for both Irving Tissue and Irving Personal Care. We have recently announced a restructuring of the Shared Services group which requires a dedicated Human Resource support position to be based in the Moncton Head Office. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a “can do” attitude. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment while maintaining a high level of energy.  The ability to multi-task, communicate, and prioritize is crucial. Reporting to the Vice President of Shared Services, this position will develop, support and execute various employee relations, performance management and communication strategies in support of Irving Consumer Products.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Human Resources certificate or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Human Resource Generalist role;
  • CHRP designation would be considered an asset;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate and assist in the development of appropriate Organizational Development and process improvement initiatives relating to human capital;
  • Support and manage all performance management systems including the Halogen automated Performance Appraisal and Development process;
  • Manage employee relations activities including, but not limited to, new hire orientation, offer letters, personnel status changes and communication programs;
  • Ensure integrity of the new base pay program including administration of the Irving Group Moncton Job Evaluation system;
  • Other HR activities including, but not limited to, investigation of employee complaints and harassment issues, management of Balance Score Card, development of recruiting strategies for “hot jobs” and development of unique training and development.
