Amiko Control Systems and Consulting Inc. a leader in the control and automation industry in Atlantic Canada is currently seeking a dynamic individual that is interested in becoming part of our growing team.

Qualifications

  • A college/university diploma, degree or certificate in business administration (accounting) or finance
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks 
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Outlook and Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to interact effectively with employees, management, suppliers and legal/government agencies
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to take initiative when necessary.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently and as a team player 

Position Summary

  • Invoicing, posting bills/expense, cash flow management
  • AR/AP, GL, payroll
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
  • Bank reconciliations, deposits, tax reporting/payment
  • Overall financial management – i.e. adjusting entries, reporting, cost control
  • Provide organizational and secretarial support to the President
  • Organize and maintain filing system
