Manpower is currently seeking an Electric Motor Rewinder on behalf of their client.  Located in Moncton, this summer contract offers a competitive salary of $16.00-$22.00/hour dependant upon experience. Shifts are both days and evenings, 40 hrs/week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Rewinding various types of electro-mechanical equipment
• Working from drawings, sketches, schematic layouts, test specifications, and written or verbal instructions
• Measuring/noting proper replacement parts and correctly requisitioning required items
• Troubleshooting, investigating, repairing, re-assembling and re-testing electrical and mechanical apparatuses as needed
• Disassembling/dismantling/stripping damaged or unserviceable electro-mechanical equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, combined with 5 years electrical repair experience 
• Post-secondary Mechanical / Electrical courses - an asset

Knowledge & Experience:

• Skilled in the use and interpretation of drawings and manuals
• Knowledge in the operation of tools, rigging and lifting devices
• Experience in performing electrical tests (meggar, surge comparison, hipot, core loss, etc)
• Capacity to understand, perform, and retain skill-related training, operational, and safety procedures
• Ability to work under time constraints in a team environment
