Programmer

The IT Department is currently looking to expand its resources by hiring a high-energy, self-motivated, conscientious and results oriented person who will be responsible for developing and maintaining program databases and providing day-to-day support in a network environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Database development.
- Program, revise, update and test Filemaker databases using both Windows and Mac OS.
- Work with Excel data files for daily imports.
- Web Development
- Program and maintain websites, web pages (surveys, forms, etc.)
- Test websites and web pages with all Browsers (Windows and Mac OS)
- Maintenance of computers:
- Assist team in troubleshooting any reported problems.
- Collaboration with the Quality Assurance and Reporting team to ensure delivery of quality product
- Participate in special projects as requested by Management.
Qualifications:
- Completion of post secondary training in programming is required.
- Knowledge of ASP or/and ASP.net, JavaScript, HTML is required.
- One to two years of programming related work experience would be an asset.
- Experience and knowledge listed below would be assets:
- FileMaker and Relational Database Development.
- Mac/Apple computers
- Crystal Report
- Tech-support experience
- Accuracy and attention to details.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and multiple priorities.
- Must be a team player as well as being able to work on projects individually.
