You are meticulous. M.E.T.I.C.U.L.O.U.S !! And you like to apply this attention to detail to numbers. We're looking for someone to come in and look after our accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivables (A/R). You will also help support our merchandising vertical by lending a hand in the area of inventory tracking. You love details. You like things right to the penny.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Accurate data entry in accounting software;
- Franchise owner account reconciliations;
- Monitoring accounts payable for suppliers and accounts receivable for franchise owners;
- Following up on outstanding receivable accounts and payments;
- Dealing with questions regarding supplier invoices;
- Ensuring accuracy of inputs in the areas of invoicing, payments, merchandise items, etc.
- Generate reports in the areas of payables, receivables and inventory levels;
- Processing monthly and ad hoc payments and applying to franchise owner accounts;
- Building strong relationships with our franchise owners;
- Assist with administrative and reception functions and any other tasks as required

There are a few skills we're looking for:
- Ability to work independently and take charge of daily activities in a timely and flexible manner;
- But, also the ability to be a positive contributor in a team environment;
- An uplifting and professional communication style;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Computer proficient including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
- An affinity for working with numbers;
- At least a basic understanding of general ledger postings;
- Familiarity (and preferably experience) with accounting software; bonus points if it's Quickbooks;
- Experience is always a difference maker;
You are more than comfortable with being a left-brainer working in a right-brain environment. We'll give you a great place to work, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, but will require some flexibility outside these hours from time to time. You won't be required to travel much, but as the saying goes "never say never".
