Overall Objective and Purpose
The Senior Business Systems Analyst works with Management teams to identify and validate business needs in order to create well-defined Market Requirements, Business Requirements, Business Cases, and CI analysis associated with GTECH products and services. The position leads teams in synthesizing GTECH, customer, and Market requirements to support the evolution of GTECH products and services.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with business and technology team members to ensure seamless integration of business functionality and requirements throughout the SDLC across product releases.
• Lead groups in analyzing, designing, and implementing business requirements.
• Support the implementation of a new business systems
• Provide project management support for the implementation of large scale business systems and processes
• Analyze and interpret complex policies and processes
• Conduct independent research
• Performs cost and benefit analysis (ROI)
• Manage requirements throughout SDLC
• Supervisor responsibilities vary based upon product team and project team interaction.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree with additional Education/Training in a Business Functional Area or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science Degree with additional Education/Training in a Business Functional Area or equivalent.

Experience: 

• Five or more year's industry experience in a related field

Skills and Knowledge

• Use Case Development, Software Requirements Specification, Functional Specification, Caliber, RUP, UML
• Must be familiar with packaged application software and MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, Exposure/experience with SAP a plus           
• Experience in writing business requirements and functional specifications associated with formalized SDLC.
• Expert Proficiency in Software Requirements, Software Design, Software Configuration Management, Software Engineering Process and Software Engineering Mgt. and Software Engineering Quality
• Basic Proficiency in Software Construction.
• Advanced Proficiency in Software Testing, Software Engineering Tools & Methods and Software Maintenance
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
