Industrial Mechanic

Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, requires a highly motivated, results orientated individual to fill the role of Industrial Mechanic. Headquartered in Southwestern New Brunswick, Cooke Aquaculture Inc. has grown dramatically through recent acquisitions to become Canada's largest fully integrated, independent producer of Atlantic Salmon and related products.

The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for the day to day and overall maintenance of our processing equipment; based out of our St. George and Blacks Harbour operations and also will support the maintenance departments of our 24-7 operations.  Reporting to the Corporate Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will have hands on experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and refrigeration and steam systems.  Training on the equipment will be provided.  Licensed Industrial Mechanics with experience are preferred; however, recently licensed Mechanics will be considered. Experience in the food industry is an asset.

The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses outstanding communications skills, and has strong problem solving skills. You will be challenged to provide maintenance support to our multi-facility operations and you will be comfortable in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
