PQA Ltd. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our e-Learning team.

Job Title:                   Instructional Designer

Role Description: You will be part of an Instructional Design team responsible for the design of exceptional e-Learning courses. The Instructional Designer (ID) must have excellent written and oral communication skills, a creative approach to e-Learning and interactive design, attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a project team. You will work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other IDs.  You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality. You will report to a Project Manager (PM).

Specific responsibilities include:

• taking a body of knowledge supplied by experts and turning it into cogent and compelling web-based training
• liaising with SMEs on content
• the design and application of interactive techniques including site design, metaphor design, site mapping, navigation, iconography and visual elements
• adhering to good interactive and instructional design principles
• promoting and practicing company values in the leadership of staff and in the nurturing of a creative, innovative, and enjoyable work environment
• contributing to the ongoing improvement of instructional design
• other duties as assigned

• ability to manage clients with confidence
• attention to detail in specifications for a diverse production team

Required Education and Skills:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in an e-learning environment and 3 to 5 years experience as an Instructional Designer.

A Masters or Postgraduate qualification in Education/Training/e-Learning and experience in Web Design would be an advantage.
