Operations Coordinator (One-year term position)

DementiaGuide Inc. (DGI) is a growing Halifax-based company committed to helping people affected by dementia. DGI is currently searching for an Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for technical and administrative functions that support our web-enabled subscription product, www.DementiaGuide.com.

Along with providing support to other staff, contractors and partners, responsibilities include general office duties (e.g., financial and administrative functions), daily communications with clients and customer support, and website administration and content maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Above average skills in computer office programs and internet functions
  • Proficiency in data entry and understanding of database concepts
  • Experience in general office operations, including routine financial functions
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Relevant college/university degree, or a combination of post-secondary education and related experience

The ideal candidate is familiar with the web development cycle and website administration.
