Due to continued growth, one of Atlantic Canada's leading general contracting firms is searching for 2 Commercial Construction Superintendents to join their talented construction team.  Reporting to the relevant Project Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of individual commercial and/or institutional construction projects throughout the HRM.

Specifically, duties will include:

• Manage all facets of a project job site
• Arrange and determine need for trades on an ongoing basis
• Liaise with corporate clients
• Relay need for changes to the Project Manager
• Ensure work is being performed in a safe manner

What we need:

Because of the hands-one, technical nature of this role you should meet the following criteria:

• 3 to 5 years experience on medium to large commercial or institutional construction projects with a general contracting firm.
• Some post secondary exposure to civil or structural technologist program or engineering degree in the same discipline
• Experience with a general contracting firm will be taken in lieu of a formal education
• Strong communication skills
• Well developed team building skills
