Founded in 1963, Strescon has grown to become the largest pre-stressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada.  We have developed a reputation for quality, reliability and efficiency in the concrete industry.  We service our customers from our operations in New Brunswick & Nova Scotia and have expanded our market area from the Atlantic Provinces to include the New England region of the United States.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise employees in a unionized production work environment;
• Efficiently and safely coordinate work and labour to produce a quality product;
• Resolve conflicts on drawings and daily problems in production;
• Position requires shift-work.

Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Certificate in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Technology with supervisory experience in manufacturing of concrete products or equivalent work related experience is a definite asset;
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, since multi-tasking is necessary;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
