Responsibilities:
The Registered Cardiology Technologist (Advanced) is responsible for recording electrical activity of the heart through 12 lead electrocardiograms, specialty lead electrocardiograms and ambulatory monitoring. The Technologist is also responsible for preparing patients for stress tilt table testing.
Please Note: If you are not currently registered you may be considered for the Unregistered Cardiology Technologist Classification.
Qualifications:
* Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
* Current BCLS
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Manual dexterity required
* Demonstrates independent judgement
Hours of Work:
* Long Assignment Full-time Position; 75 hours bi-weekly
* Beginning May 20th, 2008 until April 30, 2009
Salary: Registered Cardiology Technologist:
$22.2135 - $23.8572 Hourly
or
Unregistered Cardiology Technologist:
$16.5804 - $18.0827 Hourly
