Irving Oil Transport is currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team of aviation specialists.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-"M1-M2" The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be required to repair, service and inspect fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. Aircraft and material record keeping and documents control are required. Additional duties include towing, fueling and cleaning the aircraft, maintaining hangar facilities and support equipment. The successful candidate will be licensed by Transport Canada with an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License – Category M1 and M2. Experience, Training and approval on any of the following aircraft types, Citation 560, Citation 680 Sovereign, Falcon 50 EX, DHC6, Bell 407/206L4 and the Eurocopter AS350 will be an asset and preferred. Knowledge of Transport Canada's Canadian Aviation Regulations is critical in this role. Experience with line troubleshooting Aircraft Avionics and Electrical systems are necessary. Experience with Maintenance Planning and Inventory Controls systems an asset. The successful candidate will possess a community college diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, complimented by Human Factors, WHMIS and HAZMAT Training. To be considered for this position, the applicant must possess a valid driver's license, a radio operator's certificate aeronautical and must be willing and able to travel both domestic and international, therefore a valid Canadian passport is required.
