Part Time Junior Accountant

Our client, a not for profit organization, is seeking a Junior Accountant for their Halifax location. This is a permanent part time position.

As a part of the accounting team, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing bank reconciliations, data entry, as well as other accounting support duties as required.

As the ideal candidate, you will have completed a post secondary accounting program at the college or university level and have a minimum of two years experience in an accounting support role. You are a flexible worker, able to learn quickly and enjoy the challenge of new tasks. Along with having above average organizational skills, you have an excellent eye for detail. A good knowledge of computerized accounting systems is essential.
