Are you a dynamic and personable accountant looking to utilize your experience in a strong team environment? Our client, an industry leading real estate organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant for its head office in Halifax. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

Reporting to the Controller and Senior Property Manager, specific responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day accounting functions;
• Financial reporting and analysis;
• Completing month-end processes;
• Ad hoc and cash flow reporting;
• Managing payables; and
• Other general accounting and administrative duties as required.

As the ideal candidate, you have completed a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) and a minimum of five years of related experience. You combine excellent problem resolution skills with a willingness to contribute where needed. Real estate industry experience, excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills are assets.
