Our client, an established construction and real estate management company, is seeking an Office Manager for their office in Halifax. This is a permanent position.

As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the needs of the office, serving as executive assistant to senior level staff through a wide variety of responsibilities. Assisting the Controller, President and other staff, you are the first point of contact and your accountabilities will span a wide range of coordination, administration and accounting support responsibilities.  You are an experienced and confident individual who can take the initiative to improve processes and self-direct in identifying and meeting office management needs.

As the ideal candidate, you have a college diploma coupled with a minimum of three to four years experience in a similar office management position or equivalent experience. You are an excellent communicator who has solid administration skills, who is able to prioritize a multitude of tasks and who enjoys working with a minimal amount of supervision. You use your superior organizational and analytical skills to effectively meet deadlines and are capable of quickly learning new concepts. Additionally, you are proficient in Excel. Knowledge of QuickBooks is considered an asset.
