Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. Trouble shoots problem areas (in person, by telephone or via e-mail) and provides end-user assistance when required.
Operational:
- Document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user, network and server equipment.
- Ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct research on and make recommendations for hardware products in support of developmental efforts.
- Imaging and restoring data when necessary.
- Install third-party application software and related upgrades. Troubleshoot with the application's technical support.
- Maintain and upgrade any automated scripts within your responsibility.
- Some travel may be required to out of town locations.
- Any other new operational or computer maintenance functions as may be defined.
Education Requirements - Knowledge & Skills:
- Diploma in Technology is required.
- Certification in Microsoft, Cisco, or Apple would be an asset.
- 2-5 years experience in the IT industry is required.
- Work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and be detail-oriented.
- Strong problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and good organizational skills are required.
