Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Our client, a leading and independent Commercial and Institutional construction company based out of Halifax, is searching for a talented and career oriented Project Manager to join their team immediately. Reporting to the General Manager, you will undertake to manage multiple commercial and institutional projects in Nova Scotia with the goal of maintaining exceptional standards in quality. You will also liaise with corporate and institutional clients, manage sub-trades, address change requests, and deal with budget considerations.

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following:

• At least 5 years experience with a general contractor in a comparable role in project management, project coordination, or as a site superintendent.
• Or, experience within a civil-structural discipline with an engineering firm that specializes in project management of commercial and institutional projects
• You must have some tangible experience in the construction of commercial and/or institutional projects
• An engineering degree is considered an asset, however experience in a GC role will be considered
• A desire to further your career and exceed expectations
• Strong software proficiency and exceptional communication skills

Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, company vehicle, laptop and/or cell phone, and comprehensive benefits and pension. Candidates who do not meet the criteria set out above will not be considered.
