Reporting to the Partner in the Tax department, the Senior Tax Manager will work closely with the team in Halifax and will be a fully qualified CA with a minimum of 5 years proven experience. 

The ideal candidate for this position is a demonstrated leader who can manage multifunctional teams on complex projects. Team building, conflict resolution and communication experience in a technical accounting environment is a requirement, as well as coaching, mentoring and supporting firm goals around inclusiveness and flexibility.    As the prime point of contact on many major accounts, the ability to guide progress of multiple engagements and maintain client satisfaction is essential.  An in depth understanding of client businesses and markets with the ability to bring ideas and latest developments to clients would be ideal.    Driving knowledge sharing throughout the practice and regularly contributing to the firmwide knowledge base is a key component of this role. 

The Senior Manager will contribute to the visibility of the functional network by actively promoting its projects and services based on a global strategy.  Allocation of work to team members, meeting aggressive targets, indentifying the impact on all areas of a client business when resolving complex problems and generating revenue for the Tax practice are key responsibilities of the role.  Completion of the Indepth Tax course is a requirement.  This organization will offer tremendous growth opportunities from both a personal and professional standpoint
