Our client's applications showcase their expertise in handheld wireless solutions for the enterprise. They are becoming known throughout North America as the developer of Mantis, the mobile technology solution for onsite real-time data collection and reporting, delivering ROI to manufacturers and merchandisers of consumer packaged goods.

The Blackberry Developer role will be responsible for porting the handheld portion of the Mantis application to the Blackberry. This will be a Java client based on an existing Palm OS implementation.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Java/J2ME development, Object Oriented programming, experience with n-tier architectures developing real-time, multi-thread applications, experience with J2EE application servers and TCP/IP implementations and BlackBerry applications. The ability to understand C# code, web services (SOAP, XML, WSDL), SQL Server 2005 and familiarity with test driven development, Agile methodology and handheld wireless technologies would be preferred.

You have at least 3 years recend hands on Java application development experience, ideally on the BlackBerry platform. Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent.
