Our client, a successful manufacturer in St. John’s, NL is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst.

In this role, you will oversee the company’s information systems as well as lead the implementation of future IT Solutions. Your knowledge and abilities involves report development, business process improvement, data warehouse administration and development, user training and hands on application support.

The ideal candidate will have experience with: support and trouble shooting in payroll, financial, production and inventory applications; report development software such as Cognos BI tools (Impromptu / Powerplay) and Crystal Reports; database and application development, (preferably SQL Server).

Post secondary education in Information Technology or in Business Administration combined with Information Technology experience is necessary. Experience in Data Warehouse administration and development and minimum of 5 years relevant work experience is also required.

As well, the successful applicant will have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a demanding environment.
