Our client, a group of entrepreneurial companies based in Saint John, NB seeks a Vice President Finance to take over from their long-standing VP Finance who is retiring later this year. The group has approximately 100 employees, is well established and is focused on continued future growth.

Reporting to the President and a member of the senior management team, the Vice President, Finance will be responsible for accounting, finance, human resources, contracts, purchasing, Information Technology, and bonding and insurance. Reporting to Vice President Finance is a Controller and administrative staff of 10. This individual will play a key role in supporting the President in managing the overall business strategy and success of the corporate group.

The ideal candidate is a Professional Accountant with ten plus years experience in a similar role in a private company who still likes to get their hands dirty.  This is a terrific opportunity to be a true “business partner” to a team of successful operators and help them continue to grow their business effectively.  The reward - an excellent compensation package.
