Our client, a leader in the provision of towing and marine services with a fleet of state of the art tractor tugs, offshore support vessels and various conventional tugs and barges, requires a Commercial Sales Coordinator in Halifax, NS to support its operations.

Working with the Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for the job file management system, responding to new commercial clients, providing clients with quotes, and researching possible projects/opportunities to develop business growth. Communication with the other departments will be key to success in this position, as you will work closely with Dispatch, Accounting and QHSE.

Reporting to the Contracts and Sales Manager, successful candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and have the drive and initiative to succeed.

A post secondary education in Business, and previous sales experience in the transportation industry would be considered an asset.
