Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Services and consistent  with the Canadian Association of Diagnostic Ultrasound Professional scope of practice, the Ultrasound Technologist performs a wide variety of  examinations and procedures in accordance with the Department's standards and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Current CARDUP/ARDMS registration in diagnostic ultrasonography.
• Current experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging department required.
• Demonstrated participation in continuing education and upgrading of skills as required.
• Ability to prioritize, problem solve and work under pressure of time limitations required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Meditech an asset.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; must be an effective team player.
