Memorial University, Atlantic Canada's largest university, is building for the future. We invite you to join Memorial as Assistant Director — Capital Projects, Department of Facilities Management, to provide effective leadership in the implementation of its Infrastructure Strategy.

In this senior, newly created and pivotal role, the Assistant Director — Capital Projects, reporting to the Director, Facilities Management and working with a dedicated team of internal and external professionals, will be responsible for the planning and programming of capital construction and renovations carried out by the university. Currently approved projects have an estimated construction cost of more than $90 million with significant additional projects possible.

The successful candidate holds a degree in a related discipline and has at least eight years experience in construction and project management. You have led project management teams, contractors and consultants in the successful planning and construction of complex infrastructure. You are skilled in and understand the value of client/stakeholder consultation. Excellent team building, coaching, partnering and people management experience is essential.
