Ocean Nutrition Canada (ONC) is the global category leader of Omega-3 fatty acids for the dietary supplement and healthy food ingredient markets.  This innovative life science company is experiencing significant growth and as a result is expanding production capacity in multiple manufacturing locations. Currently, they are seeking an outstanding Vice President, Operations who thrives on the challenge of fast paced growth.

Located across the harbour from Halifax in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, ONC offers both an exciting career challenge along with quality of life in Nova Scotia, Canada's Ocean Playground.  With 300 employees at current HACCP plants in Nova Scotia, Wisconsin, and Peru, ONC is a leading advocate of global industry standards for quality and purity control.

While increasing current plant capacity, you will oversee the commissioning of a fourth facility that's under construction now and due to come on-line during 2009 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. With multi plant management teams reporting in to you, your role will have the scope and breadth to implement rapid growth and productivity strategies.  Your mission is to create a scalable, benchmark manufacturing capability at Ocean Nutrition that incorporates best practices, progressive employee development, the latest process engineering tools, advanced methodologies and controls.  A member of the senior management team, you will also have the opportunity to add your insights and expertise to the long range business planning of ONC and to build on the corporate purpose – "create wellness through innovation".
