Reporting to the Senior Financial Manager, the Manufacturing Accountant will provide detailed analysis on actual versus standard production costs and will conduct analyses to identify business improvements. You will deliver manufacturing results in a weekly presentation, and you will prepare and analyze monthly manufacturing accounting statements. The Manufacturing Accountant will assist with the development of information solutions to enhance the support of decision makers. You will maintain manufacturing accounting systems and standard costs, and will liaise with production personnel, plant management and members of the finance team.
As the ideal candidate for this role, you are detail oriented and are highly dedicated to on-time project completion. You possess strong communication skills and work well independently as well as part of a team. A professional accounting designation is preferred. Proficiency in JD Edwards software and experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered assets.
