Position Description and Responsibilities:
Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Courseware Development Senior Manager for its growing Saint John, New Brunswick office. The Courseware Development Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the development and tracking of integrated Project Plans and adapting the delivery approach to meet project objectives and client business drivers;
- Overseeing the development of project estimates and the development of project deliverables;
- Establishing and maintaining processes to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle and identify and manage project issues;
- Setting project quality and performance standards and assessing and managing risks over the project lifecycle;
- Partnering with others to lead teams as well as build and structure project teams to ensure maximum performance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge normally associated with 10+ years of experience in corporate learning practices;
- Masters or Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management or related field;
- Minimum of three years experience as a Project Manager ideally in distance learning and web-based learning projects;
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of employee development including needs assessment, instructional design and delivery;
- Superb consulting skills must be evident and demonstrated;
- Proven leadership and management skills along with excellent client management experience;
- Critical thinking and strategic planning skills along with knowledge of emerging learning program development, approaches and delivery methods.
