Network Technician
The Network Technician will act as a member of a team to support the Level II desk side support requirements of our customers. This individual must demonstrate a strong background in supporting a broad variety of issues. The successful candidate will have strong skills in providing technical support both onsite and remotely over the phone. Candidates should demonstrate completion of A+ and MCDST or MCSE or equivalent certifications and/or training. An equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of these certifications.
Resumes should include specific demonstration of the following skills:
A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with leading manufacturer products including PC's, laptops, servers, printers and point of sales equipment.
Strong diagnostic, analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
Experience providing a high level of remote technical support.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and PC configuration
Ability to work well individually and with a team
Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
A history of excellent customer service
Available to periodically work shifts that include weekends and occasional overtime as part of an on call rotation
Educational background in a relevant technical area
Any other supporting certifications such as HDI or Nortel
Some travel is required.
