Project Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator for our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location. 

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Assisting in assembling project financial information for monthly reporting, and reviewing monthly project expenditures to ensure budget integrity and accuracy
• Working with R&D and Finance stakeholders to prepare and submit SR&ED yearly tax rebate submission
• Collecting resource requirements from Project Managers and preparing a weekly Resource Plan
• Facilitating R&D Vacation Approval Process and attending weekly Resource Planning meeting
• Assisting Project Managers with estimating and tracking of project costs, assembling of monthly reports for projects, scheduling Client meetings, and preparation of meeting material
• Other responsibilities as required.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reports; Previous experience with financial reporting
• Familiarity with SR&ED and/or working in a Project Management Office (PMO) would be an asset
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products, advanced knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel; Strong MS Project skills
• High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
