Job Title:  Senior Consultant - Sharepoint Developer/Conseiller principal - Concepteur SharePoint

Business Unit: Professional Services

Accountability: Accountable for delivering the technical skills and consulting services required to complete complex assignments. Accountable for the effective delivery of assigned work: quality deliverables, effective documentation, and responsiveness to client needs within the scope of the project. Performs complex work requiring broad consulting  knowledge. Demonstrates an ongoing professional commitment to the field of consultancy. Ensures deliverables conform to quality standards and methodologies used by the practice, region and company. Delivers services in a timely manner, meets milestones and deadlines.

  • Support regional / national business objectives by delivering quality business solutions and expertise to clients, in a team or individual basis 
  • Deliver consistent performance and take strong personal responsibility and accountability for practice tasks and project assignments
  • Develop practice and consulting deliverables

Key Responsibilities & Measurements:  Performs complex work requiring broad technical knowledge; Works on problems of Diverse Scope, analytical, interpretive and constructive thinking with some unstructured aspects; Minimal guidance in performing complex technical work (work reviewed on completion).

  • Ability to discern key aspects of a problem and address at an early state based on critical analysis of expected result
  • Acts as technical/business resource to department in order to lead efforts to improve effectiveness of internal systems or customer satisfaction, 
  • Exercises considerable judgment and initiate in interpreting policy in the planning and implementation of major work assignments, 
  • Facilitating and delivering internal & external client facing discussions and presentations
  • Participate as needed in pre-sales qualification and giving technical support to Sales team closing new engagements, identifying opportunities to extend existing engagements and developing& maintaining relationships with client’s senior technical resources.
  • Developing and practicing strategies for the most effective use of technology
  • Technical leadership, motivation and mentoring to staff 
  • Mastery in core practice product or techniques
  • Able to write detailed design specifications for programmers
  • Configures and implements Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS2007)  to solve business requirements
  • Develops Web-parts to extend the functionality of MOSS2007
  • Prepares accurate and complete test plan and expected results
  • Prepares a completed work unit package, assembling all documentation, source codes and test results
  • Works with users to define business-oriented test and use conditions
  • Establishes test cycles, and executes according to test plans
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies as errors or enhancements
  • Analyzes deficiencies and determines scope of effort required to resolve
  • Recommends solutions
  • Ensures approved solutions are implemented in a timely manner

Key Competencies & Skills: Knowledge in Oracle functionality in Core Financials (GL, AR, AP, CE, FA) and Projects.

  • Knowledge in any of the other Oracle eBusiness suites modules (such as Order Management, iProcurement, iExpense, Purchasing, Inventory, Advanced Pricing and CRM) 
  • A strong understanding of Oracle modules and related business processes is a definite must.
  • Strong background designing and developing with Microsoft enterprise server products, specifically Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services v3.0, InfoPath 2007 and SharePoint Designer 2007
  • Experience with Visual Studio Development Environment (Visual Studio .NET 2005/2007, Visual Source Safe)
  • Strong knowledge of Web Application development with ASP.NET 2.x
  • Strong knowledge and development experience with VB.NET or  C# 
  • General knowledge of client-side web technologies and browsers (DHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • General knowledge and experience with Windows XP/2000/2003 and IIS 5.0/6.0

Qualifications (Education & Essential Work Experience):

  • College / University degree 
  • Working on or attained professional designation such as CA, CGA, CMA
  • 4 - 10 years experience, at least 4yrs in consulting environment 
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in the Finance, Banking, or related fields.
  • Must have at least 3 full life cycle implementations of Oracle Financials covering GL, AP, AR, FA, CE on 11i. 
  • Possess strong business development skills and proven hands-on project experience with Microsoft's development tools and technologies

Other/Optional Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certifications as a Solution Developer / Application Developer / Technology Specialist (e.g. MCAD, MCSD, MCTS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Content Management Server
  • Experience with Office 2003 development (e.g. add-ins/integration, InfoPath)
