Dillon Consulting Limited is a well established, employee-owned, professional consulting firm which operates across Canada and internationally. We provide a wide range of consulting and design services related to the infrastructure, real estate, resource, industrial and government sectors in Canada and abroad. We are currently seeking a candidate for a 12 month maternity leave replacement for the position of Administrative Assistant/Word Processor in our Halifax Office.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative assistance for a large client program which involves, but is not limited to, client invoice review, electronic project set-up, data entry, spreadsheet preparation and filing.
- Day to day word processing of various documents including large and small reports and proposals, memos, letters and specifications.
- Reception relief, which includes use of a multi-line telephone system, client interaction, incoming and outgoing mail and other tasks as required.
- Assistance with filing and report production as required.
- Contribution to an office work environment that is productive and promotes employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years word processing and office administration experience.
- Good proficiency with current office productivity software is required including Microsoft Office; advanced Word formatting skills will be preferred.
- Detail-oriented, strong interpersonal, communications, organizational and time management skills.
- Community college education or equivalent.
