We are seeking several experienced people for the position of Engine Shop Technician. This is a regular full-time position that will be based in Delta B.C.

Primary Function

To aid in the complete overhaul process of applicable PT6C-67C and PT6T Series Engines.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to follow instructions carefully.
• Utilize and understand the instructions of the applicable approved manual used to carry out the tasks assigned
• Must be able to perform any task required to repair or overhaul the units being worked on.
• Must be able to use all equipment safely.
• Help maintain all shop tools and equipment in a serviceable state.
• Assist in the instruction of apprentices.

Qualifications

• Completion of initial/update training.
• Completion of Gas turbine course at a recognized vocational school. Example: BCIT
• At least 24 months experience in the assembly, overhaul and repair of PT6C or PT6T series engine and reduction gearboxes
• OEM or AMO accredited training specific to the above Pratt & Whitney engine models.
