We are currently seeking a high caliber Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to work on a contract basis for 6-12 months. Based in Calgary, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.

You will have knowledge of and/or experience in the following:

• Responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers in the completion of complex petrochemical facilities.
• Ensure the quality completion of calculations and drawings for the facility.
• You will be responsible for managing a team of 15 to 70 technical personnel.
• Additional responsibilities include establishing and monitoring effort hour and capital estimates, staff planning, schedules, coordinating with other disciplines including project management and clients, etc.

You must have experience in:

• Working for an EPC company
• Design & construction on FEED, PMC and EPC projects within the oil, gas and/or petrochemicals industry
• Multi-disciplinary and complex projects
• Appropriate local/international codes and standards

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• At least 12-15 years related experience
• APEGGA registration
