Position Overview:

To supply a high level of service which ensures repeat guest visits by maintaining guestrooms in the cleanest possible condition using the Marriott room standards.

Duties:

• Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
• To clean guestrooms with the highest standards and to adhere to SOP’s and LSOP’s.
• Placement of all amenities in each guestroom as required.
• Report any deficiencies via the Expresso System.
• Must be able to complete 16 rooms in an eight hour shift with minimal supervision.
• Remove room service trays to the designated location in the service area.
• Diligently complete Room checks in the AM and PM and report discrepancies immediately.
• Make an effort to complete the cleaning of VD Rooms by 2pm.
• Bring all lost & found items to Housekeeping the same day it is found with room # and date.
• Keep your linenroom closet and service areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Keep guest room doors locked at all times.
• Report any unusual activity to a Supervisor or Loss Prevention immediately.

Qualifications:
 
Education:

• High School

Experience:

• One year experience preferred

Skills:

• Must have working knowledge of the english language.
• Must be neat and tidy with a natural talent for cleanliness.

Knowledge:

• To understand the proper handling of cleaning products.
• Awareness of Health & Wellness procedures.

Key Attributes:

• To communicate with other Associates or Guests to be able to provide excellent Service at all times.

Physical Demands:

• Minimum lifting 25lbs.
• Lifting 4 to 6 hours
• Bending / Reaching 4 to 6 hours
• Pulling 4 to 6 hours
• Walking / Standing 7 to 8 hours

Dates: Part-time

Salary: $10.37 per hour for first 3 months, increasing to $11.12 per hour after 3 months.
