Machine Operator (Structural Steel)

The OSCO Construction Group consists of construction and manufacturing companies that fabricate both steel & precast concrete products and perform specialty construction services. We presently have a Machine Operator career opportunity at York Steel in Fredericton, NB. 

Responsibilities: 

• Operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations;
• Operating structural steel fabrication equipment including: band saws, CNC punches, shears, CNC drill and burning machines;
• Handling material with overhead cranes and roller conveyors;
• Working from provided cut lists and blueprints.

Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of college/CEGEP/Vocation or Technical Training is an asset; 
• Previous experience in machining operations would be considered an asset;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
