| The Ideal Candidate |
The ideal candidate will possess a two-year diploma in HVAC system design, complemented by several years of progressively responsible experience in a technical design role in a company working directly in the HVAC industry, or in an EPCM company. |
| Job Description |
The Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Design Technician will work within a team, designing innovative, high-quality HVAC systems for modular structures, including accommodation and educational facilities, steel structures and telecommunications structures. |
| Responsibilities |
• Provide design expertise in building HVAC and mechanical and energy-efficiency disciplines;
• Provide building code analyses and guidance;
• Produce drawings and specifications related to HVAC design;
• Engage in HVAC system research;
• Assist in administration of company mechanical department. |
| Requirements |
• Two or more years of proven technical design experience;
• Previous experience in design in related technical industries would be a significant asset;
• Knowledge of building codes and ASHREA standards;
• Superior communication abilities;
• Exceptionally strong knowledge of CAD software packages;
• Knowledge of energy use modelling software, and Canada and Alberta plumbing codes, would be an asset;
• Completion of two-year program in HVAC-related field. |

This role includes industry-leading compensation including full benefits.
Our client would prefer that the successful candidate relocate to Swift Current, SK. In this case, relocation funds will be available. |
