Ship Engine Fitter

Irving Shipbuilding Inc's primary office is located at the Halifax Shipyard with other locations in the Maritime Provinces.  The company has been carrying out ship repair, building quality ships and fabricated modules for over 100 yrs.  The company's commitment to Health, Safety and care for its employees and the environment is an integral part of our business.

Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of college / CEGEP / Vocational or Technical Training
• Machine Fitter Trade Certification,
• Industrial Mechanic, or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Class Diesel & Steam Ticket or Millwright Certification
• 3 – 5  years Experience
