Our client, one of the largest locally owned structural steel fabricators in Atlantic Canada currently has an immediate need for a Shop Foreman. This is a permanent, Full Time opportunity working out of the clients Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location.

As the Shop Foreman, you will be required to supervise shop workers in a fast paced working environment dealing in general Structural Steel & Heavy Plate Fabrication, plant machinery & equipment

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong supervision experience
• Demonstrated organizational skills coupled with the ability to work within a faced paced working environment
• Experience in structural steel, beam & column, heavy & light plate work related to bridge fabrication & miscellaneous steel
• Must have experience with reading & reviewing shop drawings
• 5-10 years experience as a Shop Foreman/Supervisor in a similar beam & column structural fabrication plant
• Strong interpersonal skills
